Shouldn't Quidditch players be excused from doing homework -- especially when they win?

That wouldn't be fair, would it?

One of these days, I'm going to learn to stop putting off my assignments until the night before they're due. I meant to finish my Muggle Studies essay yesterday, but our party lasted all n-- I shouldn't gloat that didn't work out.

I hate it when we have essays that ask for our opinions. It's so much easier when we just have to look in a book. This one feels like it's a trap of some kind. We're supposed to say whether we would rather attend the Quidditch World Cup or the Olympics. The answer's obvious, isn't it?

Out of curiosity, how many of you write thank you notes for Christmas presents? My father keeps insisting that I need to send a letter to everyone in my family, thanking them for their gifts. I already thanked them once in person. Shouldn't that be enough? I mean, what am I supposed to write -- thanks for the socks?
